Nandini Iyer was invited to speak at DataBeers Exeter on May 27th 2025, where she shared how low-resolution, aggregated mobility data can reveal meaningful insights.
Her talk focused on revealing how mobility inequalities manifest differently in rural and urban areas, and how this data can reveal distinct forms of urbanisation — capturing both the sprawling growth of small urban settlements in the Global South and the dense expansion typical of cities in the Global North.
