Justin Wang Ngai Yeung, PhD student at the Complex Connections Lab, recently gave several talks in the Netherlands about using network science and data science to answer social scientific questions. He presented his work on dissecting engagement patterns on Reddit and human cognitions on Wikispeedia game at the AI, Media and Democracy Lab and Cutting-edge Communication Research, Amsterdam School of Communication Research (CeCor@ASCoR) at the University of Amsterdam. He also visited the Leiden HumAN Group to exchange ideas with linguists, anthropologists and historians on using network science in the humanities. Justin had a fun time learning more from other disciplines and touring around the Netherlands.
